Cymertek is a founding sponsor and ongoing supporter of the IC4 Charity MiniGolf Tournament — the Intelligence Community’s most fun-forward summer fundraiser. This annual event brings together over 300 players from across the IC for an unforgettable day of camaraderie, competition, and community impact.

But don’t let the name fool you — this isn’t your average game of mini golf. Past events have featured bull riding, axe throwing, margarita machines, giveaways, goodie bags, and amazing food — all while raising serious money for a critical mission.

In previous events, the tournament raised over $130,000 to support The Headstrong Project — a nonprofit dedicated to providing cost-free, stigma-free, and effective mental health care to military veterans, service members and their families, as well as Civilian and Contracter employees.

With our company partners, Cymertek has been pround to be one of the hosts of this event since day one — helping shape its vision, organizing logistics, rallying teams, and bringing the energy year after year. It’s our kind of charity work: high-impact and done with heart.

Born out of the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, IC Companies Feeding Maryland is a charitable partnership among Intelligence Community companies — and another that Cymertek helped found. This initiative supports the Maryland Food Bank through annual giving campaigns that have raised over $1.1 million since it's inception.

Each year, Cymertek leads by example through corporate donations, employee engagement, and campaign coordination. We believe that no one should go hungry in our community, and this effort ensures that our time and resources go where they’re needed most.

Cymertek is a proud annual participant and supporter of the AFCEA Central Maryland (CMD) Race for Excellence, a high-energy event that supports AFCEA CMD’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs. Proceeds from this race go directly toward student scholarships, school grants, and endowments in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Howard, and Prince George's counties.

Through its local and international chapters, AFCEA channels substantial resources each year into developing the next generation of scientists, engineers, and technologists. Cymertek is honored to participate in the Bike MS: Chesapeake Challenge, the Maryland Chapter’s premier fundraising ride supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. MS is a chronic and often disabling disease of the central nervous system that interrupts communication between the brain and the body — and the Society’s work is vital in funding research, treatments, and support for those affected.

In past years, Cymertek — in partnership with other companies from our industry — formed a team known as the CYCLOPATHS to raise funds and take part in the group ride. With every mile pedaled and every dollar raised, our team contributes to a future free of MS. It’s one more way we turn shared passion into meaningful action.
